The Order on the Establishment of the Archive of Cherkas Global University (Order No. 5) was signed on July 4,2024. From that date, Cherkas Global University began developing its own archival repository.

At present, the oldest document preserved in the Archive is a Knights Templar Certificate dated 1817. The second oldest document is The People of the State of New York, signed by DeWitt Clinton in 1820.

As of June 2026, the Archive of Cherkas Global University consisted of twelve fonds:

Fond 1. Collection of Documents on the History of Cherkas Global University (1992—Present)

Fond 2. Collection of Documents on the History of Cherkas Global University Press

Fond 3. Collection of Documents on the History of the Knights Templar Masonic Order in the United States (1733—Present)

— Inventory 1. Personal Papers

— Inventory 2. Manuscripts

However, on July 31,2026, Order No. 3/26 of Cherkas Global University approved a major reorganization of the Archive. Owing to the substantial growth of the collections, the existing twelve fonds were consolidated into four enlarged fonds, establishing the current archival structure.

Fond 1. Collection of Documents on the History of Cherkas Global University (1992—Present);

Fond 2. Collection of Documents on the History of the Cherkasov Family of Keret (1570—Present);

Fond 3. Collection of Documents on Masonic Organizations in the United States (1733—Present);

Fond 4. Collection of Miscellaneous Documents (18th—20th Centuries)

On August 3,2026, by Order No. 4/26 of Cherkas Global University, all documents accumulated since 2010 relating to the history of the Caucasus and Central Asia were consolidated into Fond 5, “Documents on the History of Central Asia and the Caucasus (Late 18th Century—Second Half of the 19th Century).”
