The month has come to an end, and we are ready to present the most interesting new acquisitions of the Museum. Archive. Library (MAL) for March 2026.
Museum: In March 2026, our museum acquired a Knights Templar sword dating to the 1860s. The owner was George B. Ambler (1822 — June 23,1871). He served in Hamilton Commandery No. 5 (Bridgeport, Connecticut), which was established in 1855. The sword bears the maker’s mark of W. Clauberg.
Archive: Among the most notable archival acquisitions are the minutes of the Ladies Auxiliary of Warren Commandery No. 63, KT (Pennsylvania), covering the period from the organization’s founding in 1938 through 1949.
Library: Among the new additions to the library, the most noteworthy is the work by James Brown, Original Poems; Consisting of Elegies, Sonnets, &c., with a Variety of Songs Written Purposely for Masonic and Buck’s Lodges. This book was published in London in 1788.
