On November 5,2026, the Library of Congress assigned the MARC organization code TxHoCFL to the P. A. Cherkasov Fundamental Library of Cherkas Global University. The library is now listed in the official MARC Code List for Organizations. Its entry also includes the International Standard Identifier for Libraries and Related Organizations (ISIL), US-TxHoCFL.

The MARC code uniquely identifies the library in machine-readable catalog records, both as an organization responsible for bibliographic descriptions and as an institution holding the materials described. These codes are used in library information systems and in the exchange of bibliographic data.

The assignment marks another step in developing the information infrastructure of the P. A. Cherkasov Fundamental Library and provides a foundation for further cataloging of its collections.
