On July 19,2026, the Museum of the History of the American Knights Templar inaugurated a new exhibition and opened a new museum exhibition area. Previously, the museum's exhibition space had been organized around the four cardinal directions—east, west, north, and south. As of today, the conceptual layout of the museum has been expanded to include its center.

The centerpiece of the new exhibition is one of the rarest books in the museum's collection—The Constitutions of the Antient and Honourable Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons by James Anderson. The displayed volume is the fourth edition of the famous Masonic Constitutions, published in London in 1769.

During the eighteenth century, this edition was widely used by Freemasons throughout the British Empire, including the British colonies in North America, and played an important role in the dissemination of the fundamental principles of regular Freemasonry.

The selection of this particular edition as the centerpiece of the exhibition is highly symbolic. The year 1769 occupies a special place in the history of American Freemasonry, as it was in that year that the first documented conferral of the Order of the Knights Templar took place in Boston, in British America. Thus, the book displayed in the center of the museum is a contemporary witness to one of the most significant events in the early history of the American Knights Templar.
