The CGU Museum was founded on August 1,2024, and its full name is The Museum of the History of the American Knights Templar.
The motto of the museum is — Ad perpetuam rei memoriam (“In eternal memory of the event”)
At present, the museum holds five collections:
Collection 1. Cold weapons (swords and daggers) of the Knights Templar and other Masonic orders.
Collection 2. Uniforms of the Knights Templar from the second half of the 19th to the early 20th century.
Collection 3. Badges and ribbons.
Collection 4. Photographic materials.
Collection 5. Personal belongings and souvenirs.
As of November 2025, the museum’s holdings amount to about 1,000 artifacts, of which 330 are on display. Nine artifacts are over 200 years old.
At the same time, a significant collection dedicated to other Masonic orders in the United States is being formed.
Artifacts from the museum have repeatedly served as material for the publication of books and articles about the Masonic Order of the Knights Templar.
